This sub-committee is comprised of citizen members, and members of the Hamilton Municipal Heritage Committee. Members of this Sub-Committee are appointed by Council. When Committees hold a ‘meeting’ as that term is defined in the Municipal Act, 2001/the City’s Procedural By-law, it must comply with the open meeting provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001 and the City’s Procedural By-law.

Heritage Permit applications to alter designated heritage properties under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act.
Heritage Permit applications to alter properties within a Heritage Conservation District designated under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act.
